The Kasbah has a wonderful situation at the foot of the Merzouga highest dune.
Your host, Hassan Ait Ali, was born in Merzouga and grew up in the village.
When the first tourists started to overnight in tents near the village, he decide to invest all
his money and time in the building of a camping ground that turn to be a nice charming
hotel.
You will enjoy a peaceful walled grove of palm trees, oleanders and roses while staying
in the Kasbah patio. A small swimming pool will refresh the hottest days in the late
spring, summer or early autumn.
The 35 rooms build in the most traditional way, looking like the typical Kasbah but also
build with similar materials, all with en-suite bathroom, mini bar and some with air
conditioning. Inside the Kasbah, a typical restaurant, build to the image of Cordoba
mosque, will offer you delicious local dishes prepared by our chef, Hassan Bahaedou.
A private parking area, inside the walls is ideal for camper cars / RV’s, as it offers water
and electricity supply.
The whole Kasbah has being build with modern concrete materials but all the walls have
been covered with the traditional adobe, giving a true Kasbah feeling.
